Visuomotor skills
Visuomotorik is the coordination of visual perception and the musculoskeletal system . It is part of the sensorimotor system and includes, among other things, eye-hand coordination (also hand-eye coordination ).
Physiological requirements
Almost every movement of the human body is coordinated through optical perception. With the help of the visual system , the brain creates a model of the environment that enables targeted interaction with physical reality.
definition
Visuomotor performance is an essential aspect of children's cognitive development. These are only possible with an appropriate hand-eye coordination.
Diseases
Visuomotor disorders are usually detected after starting school and usually lead to learning disorders .
