August Müller junior

August Müller (born April 11, 1711 in Jessen ; † June 26, 1789 in Marzahna ) was a German Protestant theologian .

Life

The son of August Müller sen. and his first wife Euphrosyne Maria Röhrensee († April 24, 1711 in Jessen) was baptized on April 15. After completing his advanced training in Kemberg and Wittenberg, he moved to the Wittenberg Academy in 1726 to study theology. There he had acquired the academic degree of a Magister on October 17, 1728 and in September 1733 he passed his first theological exam in Dresden . On May 21, 1738 he was ordained as pastor in Bergwitz in Wittenberg . In 1754 he went to Mahrzahna as a pastor.

family

August Müller married Christine Friedericke, the daughter of the Rotta pastor Johann Friedrich Hofmann and his wife Anna Elisabeth born on July 15, 1738 in Kemberg . Fressdorf. There are five children from this marriage. Of these are known:
