August Wilhelm Hauswald

August Wilhelm Hauswald (* 1749 in Dresden ; † April 16, 1804 ibid) was a German archivist , translator and chancellery.

Life

After attending the Princely School of St. Afra from 1761 to 1769, August Wilhelm Hauswald studied law in Leipzig . After completing his studies in 1772, he worked as a court master in various houses . In 1779 he was hired as a secret chancellor in Dresden, and in 1787 he took the position of electoral Saxon secret archive registrar .

In addition to his archival activities, he worked as a translator of numerous writings.
