August Zapf

August Zapf (born December 13, 1826 in Bayreuth , † June 20, 1910 in Wiesbaden ) was a German opera singer .

Zapf performed at the Royal Court Theater in Wiesbaden. Together with three colleagues, he founded the respected Zapf Quartet , with whom he performed at home and abroad.
