The Augusta-Bank eG Raiffeisen-Volksbank was a credit union headquartered in Augsburg. Like almost all cooperative banks, it was only active in the respective regional market. The bank was created in 1999 from the predecessor institutions Augusta-Bank eG and Raiffeisen-Volksbank Augsburg eG. In 2002 there was a merger with the smaller Raiffeisenbank Mühlhausen-Affing eG.
Augusta-Bank eG Raiffeisen-Volksbank had total assets of around EUR 1.544 billion in the 2018 financial year. In 2018, the bank operated 19 branches in the greater Augsburg area.
In May 2019, the representatives of Augusta-Bank eG Raiffeisen-Volksbank voted for a merger with VR Bank Kaufbeuren-Ostallgäu to form VR Bank Augsburg-Ostallgäu .
