Auguste Nicolas by Clavel
Auguste Nicolas von Clavel (* 1803 in Lausanne , † July 25, 1842 in Bern ) was a Swiss mathematician.
From 1834 he was a professor at the Stuttgart Polytechnic, founded in 1829 , where he taught descriptive geometry . Karl Marcell Heigelin (who died in 1833) had previously taught this there . Gottlob Friedrich Haug was then a teacher of mechanics (and mathematics) there.
