Augustine Kurt Fenz

Augustinus Kurt Fenz OCist (born December 8, 1935 in Gaubitsch ) is a priest monk of the Cistercian monastery of Heiligenkreuz and a theologian .

Life

Augustinus Kurt Fenz was professor of biblical studies of the Old Testament at the University of Heiligenkreuz , where he worked as dean to upgrade the home school to a university since 1975.

He served as pastor of Sittendorf for over 40 years .

In 2007 he returned to the Heiligenkreuz Monastery. At the age of 75 he was retired as professor . He translated and commented on the Bible.
