history

The company AUNDE Achter & Ebels GmbH was founded with 12 looms in Mönchengladbach in 1899. Since 1920, upholstery fabrics have also been developed and produced for the automotive industry. In the 1980s, with the establishment of the factory in Barcelona, ​​internationalization and the gradual conversion from a textile manufacturer to an automotive supplier began. The seat manufacturer Esteban was taken over in 1986 and the seat and spring manufacturer Isringhausen in 1991. In August 2014, the takeover of the automotive supplier Fehrer took place. AUNDE Group SE was founded on January 1, 2018. This unites the three core brands AUNDE, ISRI and Fehrer.
