Rolf Königs (born August 19, 1941 in Mönchengladbach ) is a German sports official and has been President of Borussia Mönchengladbach since 2004 . He is also managing director of the AUNDE Group .

Königs was elected to the board of Borussia on February 23, 1999. Since September 8, 1999, he has been Vice President . On April 6, 2004, Königs was elected President of Borussia Mönchengladbach to succeed the late Adalbert Jordan . During his tenure, the football club's second relegation from the 1st Bundesliga occurred in the 2006/2007 season. The reason for the sporting misery at that time was cited in the press as personnel policy, in particular frequent changes of coach, various sporting directors and the associated strong changes in the team.

Rolf Königs works free of charge for Borussia Mönchengladbach. When he took up his duties, the club had over 20 million euros in debt. The association has now been restructured and is in the black.

In addition to his work as president of the traditional Lower Rhine club, he is also managing director of AUNDE Achter & Ebels and also the market leader for truck seats in Europe ( Isringhausen - part of the AUNDE group).
