The Isringhausen GmbH & Co. KG (ISRI) (own spelling ISRINGHAUSEN) is a manufacturer of springs, as well as driver and passenger seats for commercial vehicles in the area of trucks , vans and buses and construction machinery . The company operates 50 plants in 20 countries (2017) and employs around 6,000 people worldwide. The company is based in Lemgo in Lippe .

Along with Aunde and Fehrer, Isringhausen is part of the Aunde Group, which is led by Rolf Königs . The group of companies comprises more than 100 plants in 27 countries and, as a system supplier to the automotive industry, offers products from yarn to complete interiors.

history

Isringhausen was founded in Bielefeld in 1919 and originally manufactured bicycle saddles and technical springs. With the relocation of the company headquarters to Lemgo in 1957, the production of seats for construction machines started. In the decades that followed, the range was expanded to include seats for other commercial vehicles such as trucks, buses and vans. Innovations such as the height-adjustable, integrated three-point belt or the world's first electrically adjustable commercial vehicle seat were developed by Isringhausen.

Locations

The company's headquarters are in Lemgo. This is where ISRI seats are developed and manufactured, from the product idea to prototype and series production . Other locations in Germany are in Düsseldorf and Ludwigsfelde .

Isringhausen is represented in 20 countries around the world and has 50 plants, some with individual JIT / JIS processing. Technical springs are manufactured in Lemgo- Lieme and four other locations in France , China and Mexico .

Others

Isringhausen supports sporting activities. So ISRI z. B. as a sponsor of the national handball team TBV Lemgo and provides the benches for players and coaches in the stadium of the national soccer team Borussia Mönchengladbach .
