Aurelie Wilczek

Aurelie Wilczek , married Aurelie Jäger or Aurelie Jäger-Wilczek , also Aurelia Jaeger-Wlczek (around 1840 - after 1903), was a singer ( soprano ) and singing teacher .

Life

Wilczek was a once recognized performing artist (dramatic singer) who, like her husband Ferdinand Jäger , had devoted herself entirely to teaching in her later career. Before that she had been engaged as a debutante at the Mannheim court theater in 1864, later in Kassel.

Her son was the singer and actor Ferdinand Jäger , her daughter Elsa Jäger (* 1871) was an actress.
