Hermione Bosetti

Hermine Bosetti , actually Hermine von Flick (born September 28, 1875 in Vienna , † May 1, 1936 in Hohenrain or Munich ) was a German opera singer ( coloratura soprano ) and singing teacher.

Life

After training by Aurelie Jäger-Wilczek in Wiesbaden, Bosetti made his debut in 1898 as "Ännchen" in Der Freischütz . In 1900 she was a member of the Vienna State Opera and between 1901 and 1924 she was a star singer at the Bavarian State Opera . She performed in almost all German opera houses and also sang in Holland, Belgium, London and Russia. In 1908 she sang in Vienna as a guest in roles such as “Queen of the Night” and “Marguerite de Valois”. She has recorded for G&T Recordings, Odeon , and Gramophone .

She taught singing to Dr. Hoch's Conservatory in Frankfurt am Main from 1926 to 1928. Her students included Marcia van Dresser and Adele Kern .

In 1913 the cosmetics company Aok advertised under the name Bosettis. On the Aok website you can read: The recipe remains, the advertising is state-of-the-art: Aok uses the advertising power of the royal Bavarian chamber singer Hermine Bosett in advertisements, who proclaims on behalf of the noble company: “I've only been using Aok for years -Soap!"
