Aurelio Hernández (born October 7, 1950 in Monterrey , Nuevo León ) is a retired Mexican football player on the position of defender .

Life

Hernández was in two stages for a total of eight years with the Club Deportivo Guadalajara under contract, for which he initially worked from 1970 to 1972 and then again from 1974 to 1980. In between he played for Deportivo Toluca for two years .

In 1980 he moved to the newly promoted Atletas Campesinos , who only played two seasons (1980/81 and 1981/82) in the top Mexican division . After the license sale to Tampico-Madero FC at the end of the 1981/82 season, the club was eliminated from the first division and Hernández ended his active career.
