The Austpynten ( Norwegian for east point ) is a headland that forms the northeastern end of the island of Padda in the Lützow-Holm Bay off the Prince Harald coast of the East Antarctic Queen Maud Land .
Norwegian cartographers, who also named it, mapped this cape using aerial photos taken during the Lars Christensen expedition in 1936/37 .
