Austrian Literature Online
Austrian Literature Online (ALO) is an Austrian digitization project of the Innsbruck University Library and the Graz University Library as well as the Johannes Kepler University Linz .
ALO is - together with the ANNO project of the Austrian National Library - the largest Austrian project of its kind. In August 2004, the 4,000th title was made available. Most of them are digital facsimiles .
The focus is on Austrian literature and women's literature, but numerous digital copies have also been made available online from other areas (such as old prints in Tirolensia Latina) .
ALO is designed as a hands-on project that offers digitization and permanent setting in the public domain and, if the rights are available, copyrighted material at comparatively moderate prices .
