August Jacob Liebeskind
August Jacob Liebeskind (* 1758 in Weimar ; † 1793 ) was a German pastor in Oßmannstedt , author and tutor of the children of Johann Gottfried von Herders . In 1788 he married Amalie Wieland, the youngest daughter of Christoph Martin Wieland . Liebeskind wrote numerous fairy tales that appeared in Wieland's collection of fairy tales, Dschinnistan . The fairy tale Lulu or the Magic Flute served as a template for some plays and operas :
