The Avital ( Hebrew הר אביטל Har Avital , Arabic تل أبو الندى Tall Abū n-Nidā ) is a 1204 m high mountain of volcanic origin in the Golan Heights . It is located south of the 1171 meter high Bental , with which it shares an underground magma chamber . Both mountains are volcanoes and are part of a series of extinct volcanoes on the eastern side of the Golan Heights. The Avital allows aview over Syria from Israel and is the location for the Israeli intelligence services.
