Aw Boon Haw ( Chinese  胡文虎 , Pinyin Hú Wénhǔ ; * 1882 in Rangoon , Burma , † 1954 in Hong Kong ) was a Burmese-Chinese entrepreneur.

Haw came from a Hakka family from Yongding . In 1920 he and his younger brother Aw Boon Par ( 胡 文 豹 , Hú Wénbào ) founded the pharmaceutical company Haw Par Healthcare in Singapore , whose first and best-known product is the cold ointment Tiger Balm . He also founded several newspapers in Malaysia and Hong Kong. As a philanthropist , he donated several parks, the most important of which is today's Haw Par Villa in Singapore, which was built in 1937 under the name "Tiger Balm Gardens".

Haw died of a postoperative heart attack in 1954 while on a boat trip from Hong Kong to Boston .
