Axel Erdmann

Axel Erdmann (* 1950 in Rostock ) is a German entrepreneur and has been the Swedish honorary consul in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 1997 .

Life

Erdmann grew up in Rostock, after graduating from high school, he studied business administration at the University of Rostock until 1972 . Erdmann then worked as a business economist at the Institute for Shipping and later at the Deutsche Seereederei . After reunification, he campaigned for the reprivatisation of VEB Metallwerkstätten Warnow, which emerged in 1972 from the wire goods factory founded by Ferdinand Schultz in 1868. In 1902 Erdmann's grandfather Paul Erdmann took over the business. Erdmann is still the managing partner of the Ferdinand Schulz group of companies. Erdmann has held the office of the Swedish honorary consul in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania since 1997.
