Axel Gauvin

Axel Gauvin (born August 3, 1944 in Le Bois-de-Nèfles a district of Saint-Denis on La Réunion ). He studied natural sciences in France and returned to Réunion after taking the state examination, where he has worked as a teacher and writer since 1973 .

Gauvin published five novels in French and several poems in Creole . He is also known for essays on Creole culture and language .
