Carl Axel Jansson (born April 24, 1882 in Stockholm ; † September 22, 1909 there ) was a Swedish sports shooter .
successes
Axel Jansson took part in the 1908 Olympic Games in London . With the free rifle he finished seventh in the three-position fight in the individual, while he won the silver medal with the team behind Norway and before France. With 801 points, Jansson was the third best shooter in the team, which also included Jansson, Per-Olof Arvidsson , Janne Gustafsson , Gustaf Adolf Jonsson , Claës Rundberg and Gustav-Adolf Sjöberg . In the team competition with the army rifle over six distances, he reached fifth place.
