Axel Krippschock (born February 5, 1962 in Elbingerode ) is a former German long-distance runner and currently athletics trainer .

In the 1980s, he was multiple GDR champion both over the 3000 and 5000 meter indoor and 5000 meter outdoor courses. With a height of 1.88 m, he had a competition weight of 61 kg.

Since 1995 he has been the trainer of the long-distance runner Carsten Eich .
