The Axel Springer Auto Verlag GmbH (formerly AS Auto Verlag GmbH ) is a special-interest publishing house for car magazines (known as Motor Presse). It is a 100% subsidiary of Axel Springer SE . The main publishing house is in Hamburg , with another seat in Schwabach near Nuremberg.

The publisher's publications include, above all, the title families under the umbrella brands Auto Bild and Auto Test .

  • Auto Bild : weekly, founded in 1986, sold circulation: 587,966 copies according to IVW III / 2010
  • Auto Bild Allrad: monthly, founded in 1996, sold circulation: 78,540 copies according to IVW III / 2010
  • Auto Bild Klassik: monthly, founded in 2007, sold circulation: 139,701 copies according to IVW III / 2010
  • Auto Bild Motorsport: founded in 2001, appears as a booklet-in-booklet in Auto Bild, the number of copies sold corresponds to Auto Bild
  • Auto Bild Sportscars: monthly, founded in 1996, sold circulation: 71,539 copies according to IVW III / 2010
  • Auto Test (formerly Automobil Tests): monthly, founded in 1996, sold circulation: 198,596 copies according to IVW III / 2010
  • Motor Revue: every six months, founded in 2012 (first edition 1/2013 of December 7, 2012)

Earlier titles were also Automarkt, Das Neue Automobil, Geländewagen-Magazin, Vmaxx, Auto Tuning, Opel Club & Trend and BMW & Mercedes Magazin as well as the online new and used car exchange Autoeuro.de.
