Ciudad Ayala is a city in the Mexican state of Morelos . It is 1220 m high, had 6,777 inhabitants in 2010 and is the administrative seat of the Municipio Ayala , which was formerly called San Francisco Mapachtlán .
Ciudad Ayala is mainly known for the Ayala Plan , in which Emiliano Zapata and his followers gave themselves a program in 1911.
