Aydoğan Tunay (born March 16, 1945 in İzmit ) is a former Turkish football goalkeeper and today's coach .

Player career

Tunay began his career in the 1964/65 season with Galatasaray Istanbul . The goalkeeper came to a league game this season, on June 6, 1965 against Altay Izmir . In the summer of 1965 Tunay left the yellow-reds and moved to the 2nd division to Manisaspor . There he became a regular goalkeeper and played 117 second division games in five years.

1970 Tunay returned to the 1st division and became a player of PTT . At the end of the 1970/71 season Tunay rose with PTT in the 2nd division, the return to the 1st division followed after one season. Tunay spent his last season in 1975/76 with Balıkesirspor .

Coaching career

Tunay trained Burdurgücü for two years and Mustafakemalpaşaspor followed . In 1991, the former goalkeeper became the head coach of Manisaspor. Tunay was released after four months. From 1992 to 1994 he took over the Akhisarspor team .

Aydoğan Tunay's last position was at Uşakspor from August 2018 to December 2018 .
