Manisa Futbol Kulübü is a Turkish sports club from Manisa , which is known for its football department . The soccer team currently plays in the TFF 3rd Lig , the fourth highest division in Turkish soccer. Manisa BB is overshadowed by Manisaspor , which has had major successes, especially in the football department. In the summer of 2019, the association changed its previous name to "Manisa Büyükşehir Belediyespor" in Manisa Futbol Kulübü (short form: Manisa FK).

History of the football team

Manisa BB was founded in 1994 and initially played in the Turkish amateur leagues and the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig . In the 2011/12 season the club finished fifth, in the following season, the 2012/13 season, the performance could be increased - at the end of the season they finished third and missed participation in the play-offs for the TFF 3rd Lig just barely. Manisa BB had scored the most goals of any team in the group with 65 goals scored. Also worth mentioning is a 10-1 home win against former second division club Afyonkarahisarspor and a 6-0 away win at Uşak İl Özel İdare .
