Niğde Anadolu FK is a Turkish football club from the city of Niğde , a city in Central Anatolia .

history

Niğde Anadolu FK was founded in 1990 and spent his time in the Turkish amateur leagues and in the Boelgesel Amatoer Lig. In the 2013/14 season they finished second in Group 5 at the end of the season with 61 points and ten points behind the runners-up, thus they qualified for the second play-off round, which leads to the TFF 3rd Lig . There they met Tatvan Gençlerbirliğispor in the first round on April 27, 2014 , who were defeated 1-0. In the play-off, they met Ceyhanspor on May 4, 2014 , who had previously been first in the same group as Niğde. Niğde won the game clearly 4-0 and celebrated promotion to the TFF 3rd Lig.

The club ended the regular league phase of the fourth division season 2015/16 as third in the table and qualified for the play-off phase, in which the last promoted players are determined by a knockout system . In these play-offs, the club sat first against Çorum Belediyespor and then against Beylerbeyi SK and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig .

Before the 2018/19 season, the club was taken over by the second division Altınordu Izmir as its second club and renamed Niğde Anadolu FK.
