Mustafa Ceviz (born February 3, 1966 in Malatya ) is a former Turkish football player and coach.

Player career

Ceviz was born in 1966 in the eastern Turkish city of Malatya . He began his professional football career in 1999 at the then third division Etibank SAS . Until 1998 he played for various clubs of the Türkiye 3. Futbol Ligi and then ended his playing career.

Coaching career

He started his coaching career immediately after his footballing career. His first activity was the then fourth division club Kurtalanspor . A year later he worked for the second division Şanlıurfaspor as an assistant coach. The following years he coached various clubs of the TFF 3rd Lig and the TFF 2nd Lig .

In November 2008 he took over the position of head coach at the fourth division team Malatya Belediyespor . But just six weeks later he resigned from this office.

After retiring from Malatya Belediyespor, he still trained Fethiyespor and Tarsus İdman Yurdu and took over the fourth division club Nazilli Belediyespor in December 2011 . With this club he reached the championship in the fourth division season 2011/12 and rose to the TFF 2nd Lig . After the promotion, he stayed a few months as head coach and then left the club.

In winter 2012 he took over the position of head coach at Fethiyespor for the fourth time . At the end of the season he led this club to the playoff victory of the TFF 2nd Lig and thus to promotion to the TFF 1st Lig . After promotion, he announced his retirement on the 11th match day.

A few days after his resignation at Fethiyespor, he was presented as the new head coach of the third division club Aydınspor in 1923 .
