Aynur Aydın
Aynur Aydın (born December 15, 1985 in Munich ) is a Turkish singer in the field of pop and dance music.
Early years
Aydın was born in 1985 in a suburb of Munich as a child of Turkish immigrants and grew up there. At the age of ten she took singing lessons and gained acting experience at various theaters in Munich. From the age of eighteen, Aydın also appeared as a singer on various stage shows.
Musical career
2000 to 2011: Sürpriz and ESC 2003
At the age of 15, Aydın joined the Turkish band Sürpriz . The group produced their first and only studio album in Istanbul in 2000. Due to the little success after the release, the members disbanded the band in 2002 and Aydın returned to Germany in the same year. With the dissolution of Sürpriz, she also separated from her then boyfriend Cihan Özden. After her return, Aydın became a member of the German music band Tagtraeumer. The group decided to qualify for the Eurovision Song Contest 2003 in Latvia with their song Mükemmel Dünya İçin , which was produced in Istanbul ; However, the band dropped out before the decision, as the singer Lou with her song Let's Get Happy had already been selected for the preliminary decision. Aydın left the band at the end of 2003 to focus on a career as a solo artist.
2011: 12 Çeşit La La - 12 Ways to La La
At the beginning of 2011 she started work on her first own studio album 12 Çeşit La La - 12 Ways to La La . She worked with a variety of Turkish producers and songwriters, including Aşkın Tuna, Fettah Can , Günah Çoban, Süleyman Yüksel and Nihan Özen. A total of twenty-six songs were created for the album; thirteen songs appeared in Turkish. For each of these songs Aydın also sang an English version. On November 24, 2011 the album was released by the Seyhan Müzik label.
In 2012 and 2013, the singer received five different awards, including a magazine Journalist Association Award twice in the “Best Female Artist” category and four other awards, also in the “Best Female Artist” category.
In March 2012, Aydın published the title İşporta together with Erdem Kınay . The song only appeared as an album track on the studio album Proje by Kınay. The song's music video followed in early June. The video was shot in Belgium under the direction of Şenol Korkmaz. At the end of the month, several Turkish and European radio stations voted İşporta among the “Most Heard Songs of 2012”.
A year later, Aydın presented her first English-language single, Life Goes On . In June 2013 she released the title Sınır with Erdem Kınay . This song appeared again only on Kınay's second studio album Proje 2 .
2016: Second album Emanet Beden
For her second studio album Emanet Beden , Aydın worked again with numerous other producers and songwriters, including Murat Güneş, Habil Ceyhan, Mohammed Denebi and Günah Çoban. The latter was already involved in the production of the first studio album 12 Çeşit La La - 12 Ways to La La . Aydın later said in an interview that the new album would be "quieter and more emotional" overall.
On February 29, 2016, she presented the song Bi Dakika as the first single from her new album Emanet Beden . The music video of the single Bi Dakika was viewed by around a million people on the YouTube video platform after it was released . For the title Günah Sevap she received a “1st Gossip Time End of the Year” in 2015 and 2016 as well as a “29th International Consumer Safety Summit Award” in the categories “Best Music Video” and “Best Song”.
In December 2017 the song Bana Aşk Ver was released in collaboration with the singer Turaç Berkay . On October 30, 2018, Aydın released the single Salla .
