Sabiha Bânu Yalkut-Breddermann (* 1951 in Ankara , Turkey ) is a German ethnologist and religious scholar of Turkish origin and author.

Life

Yalkut-Breddermann studied ethnology and religious studies with a focus on oriental studies in Ankara and Berlin .

She is the mother of one son and lives in Germany.

She wrote works on Kurdish Yazidis in Germany, gave guest lectures on this topic at German universities and other institutions and took part in a documentary film. She also wrote two Turkish cookbooks in German.
