Bärbl Maushart

Bärbl Maushart (born December 10, 1944 ) is a German politician of the FDP / DVP and trained advertising manager.

education and profession

Active on the board of the Baden-Württemberg consumer center since 1975 , she took over the chairmanship in 1983. She sat down for the strengthening of consumer protection through increased use of Abmahn - and legal standing one. The consumer advice center won groundbreaking judgments on the value date and validity of telephone cards before the Federal Court of Justice . After the Chernobyl nuclear disaster , Bärbl Maushart himself examined the radioactive contamination of agricultural products.

Social activity

Maushart has been a member of the FDP / DVP since 1968. She has been chairwoman of the Straubenhardt-Neuenbürg local association for many years and was chairwoman of the district association and the Northern Black Forest district association and deputy state chairwoman of the FDP Baden-Württemberg . She ran twice for election to the German Bundestag in the Pforzheim constituency.

Bärbl Maushart has been a volunteer since the beginning of 2013 and, as her husband's successor, has been the secretary of StrahlenschutzPRAXIS , the journal of the German-Swiss Association for Radiation Protection .

Honor

Bärbl Maushart was honored on May 3, 2006 by Prime Minister Günther Oettinger for 30 years of highly committed voluntary work at the Baden-Württemberg Consumer Center with the Baden-Württemberg Medal of Merit , the highest award in the state.

Family and private

Bärbl Maushart is married to the radiation protectionist Rupprecht Maushart and lives in Straubenhardt .
