Béla Török (born October 10, 1871 in Budapest , † November 27, 1925 in Budapest) was a Hungarian ENT doctor .

Török enrolled in the medical faculty of Semmelweis University in Budapest in 1889 . He received his doctorate in 1896, then in 1899 he became a student of Moritz Ferdinand Trautmann at the Charité in Berlin and of Janssen in 1901. Török founded the ENT clinic of the university hospital in Budapest in 1913, which he ran until his death. In 1923 he also founded the Hungarian National Association of the Hearing Impaired (Magyar Nagyothallók Országos Egyesülete) and in 1925 the Institute for the Hearing Impaired, the institute bears his name. Today it is a kindergarten, elementary school, technical school, training institute, children's home and student residence.

Török's idea was the audiometer, which he designed in the 1920s together with Georg von Békésy , who later won the Nobel Prize, and which Békésy later developed as an audiometer for the differential diagnosis of sensorineural disorders . Török has made a very good name for himself internationally with his scientific work in the field of human hearing. He is buried on the Kerepesi temető .
