Bévercé (dt. Wywertz ) has been a sub-municipality of the Belgian city ​​of Malmedy in the eastern cantons since the municipal merger in 1977 . The former municipality is located two kilometers north of Malmedy center on the Warche River , on the border with the High Fens .

Under Prussian administration, Bévercé received the name Wywertz . Today the area around the community is open to tourists, with hiking trails and mountain bike routes.

The town's quarry, the Carrières de la Warche, is also known .
