Böffingen is a district of Glatten in Baden-Württemberg in the Freudenstadt district in the northern Black Forest . Böffingen is located about one kilometer southeast of Glatten. The place has 304 inhabitants (as of December 31, 2008).

history

The Reformation was introduced in Neuneck in 1579 by Anastasius Kommerell on behalf of Burkhard and Jerg von Ehingen . Since then, the place has been evangelical.

On July 1, 1974, Böffingen was incorporated into Glatten as part of the community reform.

Religions

From a church perspective, the approx. 220 Protestant residents of the community have belonged to the parish of Glatten since 1972. Before that they were assigned to the independent parish of Neuneck .

Clubs and events

  • The place is known above all for the farmers band Böffingen with Trachtengruppe eV. She is also the organizer of the local Kirbe ( parish fair ) in mid-October. The association, which has existed since 1918, began under the name "Böffinger Musikanten" and has since shaped the cultural life of the place.
