The Böttingersches Landhaus , originally Böttinger Hof in Stegaurach , also called Böttinger Schlösschen, was commissioned by Johann Ignaz Michael Tobias Böttinger and built between 1693 and 1725. The master builder was Johann Dientzenhofer , the craftsmen carrying out the work are unknown.

description

At the rear of the house is a garden with two terraces , two stairs and a well. The garden was originally intended to be used as a recreational area, but was never created because the client got into financial difficulties. At the front there was a farmstead with side stables for horses and cattle about 55 meters long. This fell victim to a fire, in its place are today the Stegaurach municipal administration, the Luigi Padovese parish home and two residential buildings. The building originally consisted of eleven rooms with a total living area of 240 m². Four of these rooms have elaborate stucco ceilings with motifs mainly from agriculture and nature.
