Børge Gissel
Børge Gissel (born July 7, 1915 in Viby , † April 6, 2002 in Fredericia ) was a Danish track cyclist .
Three times in a row - 1944, 1945 and 1946 - Børge Gissel was the Danish champion in the single pursuit of amateurs . At the UCI track world championships in Zurich in 1946 , he was runner-up in this discipline. In 1947 and 1948 he was second in the Danish championship in pursuit.
In 1948 Gissel started at the Olympic Games in London with the Danish four-man in the team pursuit ; the team reached the quarterfinals.
