The Büchner Wall is a building in Darmstadt at Grafenstrasse 39.
History and description
The Büchner Wall stands on the western boundary of the property at Grafenstrasse 39. Georg Büchner's parents' house stood here . In the apartment building he worked on his drama Danton's Death . According to a later report by his brother Wilhelm, the ladder that Georg Büchner is said to have used to escape at the end of February 1835 was said to have stood by the garden wall of the property .
