Bənəniyar

Bənəniyar (also Bänäniyar ) is a village in the Rayon Julfa in which to Azerbaijan belonging to the Autonomous Republic of Nakhichevan . It is located on İlandağ Mountain and on the banks of the Gilancay River .

Bənəniyar is one of the largest towns in the rayon with around 6,000 inhabitants.

Economically, Bənəniyar is characterized by agriculture . In particular, wine , tobacco and cotton cultivation are widespread in the region.
