BIG (short for Boys in Groove ; Korean : 비아 이지) is a South Korean boy group from GH Entertainment . The group consists of members J-Hoon, Benji, Gunmin, Minpyo and Heedo and debuted on July 4, 2014.
history
All five members of BIG were trainees at their record label GH Entertainment for three years before debuting on July 4, 2014 with the song Hello , written by Shim Man-joo . The song achieved a lot of popularity both in Korea and internationally. The group first appeared on SBS MTV's The Show . Their first EP, Are You Ready? . To mark the 200-day anniversary of their debut, GH Entertainment founded BIG's official fan club Biginning (비기 닝). The first fan meeting with the motto "Hello Biginning" followed on July 31 in Seoul . In 2016, BIG made its debut in Japan under the label HY Entertainment with the song Taola , which reached number 15 in the Japanese charts. On May 10, 2016, the group released the EP Aphrodite . The single Aphrodite was released a week later, including a music video. During her career, BIG released many more singles and held concerts in Korea, Japan and Malaysia .
