Benjamin Roy Armstrong Jr. (born September 9, 1967 in Detroit , Michigan ) is a retired American basketball player .
Life
BJ Armstrong was born in Detroit and attended high school in Bloomfield Hills . He played the position of point guard and was an integral part of the successful Chicago Bulls in the 1990s. With the Bulls, he won the NBA championship three times in a row from 1991 to 1993. In 1994 he was nominated for the NBA All-Star Game . After the 1999/2000 season, he retired from active basketball. He then became an agent of former Bulls star Derrick Rose and is still considered a basketball expert.
