The BFS finance GmbH is a subsidiary of Bertelsmann AG and is part of the division arvato . The company is based in Verl near Gütersloh and has further locations in Münster, Dortmund and Potsdam. It is a bank-independent financial services company, employed a total of approx. 600 people in the group of companies in 2015 and processes a volume of receivables of EUR 3.8 billion in around 70 million transactions.

Services in receivables management and financial services are provided, from the creation of a receivable, invoicing and processing including receivables hedging and pre-financing to booking the payment.

history

BFS finance GmbH was founded in 1999 as a company of the Bertelsmann Group, the roots of the business go back to 1961.

Services

BFS finance GmbH has developed into a provider in the German factoring market and in B2B and B2C full-service factoring in Germany. It also offers central settlement services . The corporate group also offers outsourcing in finance and accounting as well as the design of national and international order-to-cash process solutions in high-growth e-business mass markets. With the subsidiary BFS health finance GmbH , BFS finance has also specialized in the billing of health care providers. BFS health finance GmbH was created through the takeover of the AKH Abrechnungskasse der Heilberufe und Ärzteservice GmbH with its headquarters in Hagen in 2004. The customer segments include dentists, doctors, veterinarians and clinics. For these service providers, the purchase of receivables is at the core of the BFS health finance business model. Around 400 employees work for BFS health finance GmbH at the Dortmund headquarters.
