From April 1987 this restriction was relaxed slightly and branches of the bank that were controlled from North Rhine-Westphalia could also be serviced.

A nationwide offer for the employees of Deutsche Bank and some of the subsidiaries (including Deutsche Bank Bauspar-AG , DWS Investment GmbH ) has only existed since April 1990. In 1991, the branches in the new federal states were taken on.
