BSG Halloren Halle
The BSG Halloren Halle or BSG Empor Halloren Halle was a company sports association in the city of Halle / Saale . The most successful department of the club was the handball department. The handball players of the company sports association played 25 years in the GDR handball league and won the FDGB Cup three times .

The handball section of the BSG Halloren Halle played for women over many seasons in indoor handball as well as field handball in the top division. So you played in field handball from 1963 until the liquidation of the league in 1967 in the GDR League. The best placement was achieved with victory in Season II in 1965 and participation in the final against SC Empor Rostock . The final of the championship on July 4th in Staßfurt ended 5: 1 for the Rostock women.
In indoor handball, the BSG Halloren Halle first played in the first-class league from the 1962/63 season, but could not qualify for the newly created league in the following season . For the 1965/66 season the promotion succeeded and as a result you stayed in the House of Lords for 20 years before you had to relegate last placed in 1985 .
The greatest successes in the club's history have now been achieved by the second team of the company sports community. In the 1972, 1974 and 1976 seasons, they won the FDGB Cup , the cup competition in the GDR, three times . The second team took part in the competition because between 1971 and 1976 the league teams were denied participation.
After the descent of the BSG in 1985, they were immediately promoted again and until the end of the league in 1991 they stayed in this division. The club qualified for the handball Bundesliga in 1991/92. This season you ended in the season south in the last place in the table and had to relegate to the 2nd Bundesliga , where you could complete the 1992/93 season in midfield. In the following season, the team was signed off from game operations.
