B Engineering Edonis

The B Engineering Edonis is an Italian supercar manufactured by B. Engineering since 2001 . The body construction company Vercarmodel Saro was commissioned with the technical development of the Edonis .

It is based on the Bugatti EB110 , from which the carbon fiber housing was adopted. Everything else has been significantly redesigned: the exterior and interior have been redesigned, the 3.5-liter Bugatti engine has been enlarged from 3500 cm³ to 3760 cm³, and the original four small IHI turbochargers have been replaced by two larger ones from the same manufacturer.

As a result, the engine's output rose from 610 PS (448 kW) to 680 PS (500 kW) and the maximum torque from 650 Nm to 735 Nm at 8000 revolutions per minute. Its specific output is now 181 hp / liter.

The four-wheel drive , the triple differential and the drive train from the Bugatti were replaced by a simpler and therefore lighter rear axle drive, which resulted in a weight saving of 70 kg. The Edonis, which weighs 1500 kg, has a lower weight / power ratio of 2.2 kg / hp.

According to the manufacturer, the car reaches a maximum speed of 365 km / h and accelerates from 0 to 100 km / h in 3.9 seconds.

B Engineering plans to build only 21 of these vehicle bodies, which were originally intended for the Aérospatiale Bugatti . The supercar will cost around € 760,000 and is made to order.
