Babette Pohl

Babette Pohl (* 1971 ) is a German lawyer and judge at the Federal Court of Justice .

Live and act

After completing her legal training, Pohl joined the judicial service of the state of Baden-Württemberg in 1999 . There she was initially employed at the District Court of Mosbach and the District Court of Heidelberg . From April 2000 until November 2002, Pohl was seconded to the Baden-Württemberg Ministry of Justice . In August 2001 she was appointed public prosecutor at the Mannheim Public Prosecutor's Office, but immediately after the end of her secondment she took up a position as a judge at the Heidelberg Regional Court . In February 2003 she was appointed scheduled judge at the regional court. During her work as a judge at the Heidelberg Regional Court, she was seconded three more times: from August 2006 to December 2008 as a research assistant to the Federal Constitutional Court , from July 2010 to March 2011 to the Higher Regional Court of Karlsruhe and from July 2013 to the State Court of Baden-Württemberg . In December 2013 she was promoted to judge at the Karlsruhe Higher Regional Court.

In March 2016, Pohl was elected judge at the Federal Court of Justice. It was assigned to the III , who was primarily responsible for official, state and notary liability law, the law of public law compensation as well as legal disputes over service contracts and agency relationships . Civil Senate assigned.
