The Babis Spur is a rock spur in the Antarctic Ross Dependency . It rises in the southern part of the Nash Range at a distance of 10 km west of Cape Wilson .
The United States Geological Survey mapped the formation using tellurometer surveys and aerial photographs by the United States Navy between 1960 and 1962. The Advisory Committee on Antarctic Names named the rock spur after William A. Babis, oceanographer for the United States Antarctic Research Program on the USCGC Eastwind icebreakers ( 1962–1962) and USCGC Burton Island (1963–1964).
