Bacapon

Bacapon (* 1979 in Hamburg ; real name Deniz Türksönmez ) is a German rapper of Turkish descent.

biography

Bacapon was born into a guest worker family in the south of Hamburg. However, fears of xenophobia caused the family to move back to Anatolia when Bacapon was five . However, his mother returned to Germany shortly afterwards. Bacapon, on the other hand, stayed in Turkey and grew up with his father. After finishing primary school in 1990, he was sent back to Germany to see his mother because he had no prospects, although he hardly spoke any German . In Hamburg he grew up in a very small space in various high-rise housing estates. Meanwhile, Bacapon's interest in hip-hop culture increased and he began graffiti and breakdancing before writing his first German lyrics. In 1992 he adopted his stage name Bacapon . Together with Black Casa he formed the duo The True Bosses , which in 1998 released the first single On that Day . The corresponding video ran in the heavy rotation of MTV . Shortly afterwards, however, they broke up again and Bacapon concentrated on his solo career from then on. However, it wasn't until 2007 that he released his first CD as a solo artist. By then he had recorded over 100 songs. For the mixtape The executioner from the 11th floor , which was published on 16 March 2007, he chose 22 of which mainly Sleepwalker produced were. His debut album Raubtiermuzik about Pias Germa was released on April 24, 2009 .
