The Bacharach Nunatak is a 2000 m high and distinctive Nunatak in Grahamland in the north of the Antarctic Peninsula . It rises from the northern arm of the Drummond Glacier .
Aerial photographs taken by pilots from Hunting Aerosurveys Ltd. Created between 1955 and 1957, the Falklands Islands Dependencies Survey were used for mapping. The UK Antarctic Place-Names Committee named the Nunatak in 1958 after the British biochemist Alfred Louis Bacharach (1891-1966), whose research helped to overcome problems in the nutrition of expedition teams in polar regions.
