The Bad Salzufler Christmas Dream is a Christmas market in the city center of Bad Salzuflen in East Westphalia-Lippe . It is held annually throughout the four weeks of Advent from the end of November to the end of December.

The Christmas dream extends from the Schliepsteiner Tor over the pedestrian zone Lange Straße with its side streets to the Salzhof.
At the Schliepsteiner Tor (rose garden) is the “ Feuerzangenbowle ”, a hut ensemble with gastronomic offers as well as some rides and children's attractions. In the area of the pedestrian zone there are more than 60 wooden houses with various offers against the historical backdrop of the Weser Renaissance . It ends at the Salzhof, which forms the central square of the Christmas market. Here you will find, among other things , a crib house with a campfire and craftsmen , a Christmas pyramid with hand-carved figures from the Ore Mountains , which at 12 meters is the highest in the region. Concerts with national performers and regional choirs are regularly held on a stage with free admission. Storytellers and a puppet stage form the supporting program. In addition to the artisans and traders, numerous charitable associations present gift ideas. A historic stagecoach is available for tours. Extensive Christmas lights and large fir trees donated by citizens from local gardens form the decorative framework.

The Bad Salzufler Christmas Dream was first organized in 2005 by the Bad Salzufler advertising association founded in 1975 . It developed from the agreed founding goals and tasks no. 1 the Christmas lights and no. 3 ..... events with and for the Salzufler merchants . In 2010 the Bad Salzufler Christmas market had 100,000 visitors. In 2011, glassblowers from the German Museum in Munich presented traditional glassblowing to the public for the first time at the Christmas market. On December 2, 2012, the music program Eine Schöne Bescherung was broadcast live from the Christmas market in Bad Salzuflen on WDR from 5:00 p.m. to 5:45 p.m.
For many people from Ostwestfalen-Lippe , it has already become a tradition to visit the Bad Salzufler Christmas Dream on December 26th.
