History, description, use

The three-storey gabled house, on whose gable the date 1659 is preserved, is designed in the style of the early Gothic . Its facade was renewed in the 19th century; it is divided horizontally, a tendril frieze separates visually the ground floor and the first floor, a Konsolfries will conclude.

Four stumbling blocks are set in the sidewalk in front of the front door ; they are reminiscent of Anna, Ruth, Vera and Hirsch Guss (see the list of stumbling blocks in Stralsund ).

The house is located in the core area of ​​the city ​​area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the historical old towns Stralsund and Wismar .

It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 67.

Parts of the house are used by the CDU local branch.
