The house with the postal address Badenstrasse 41 is a listed building on Badenstrasse in Stralsund and was built in the 17th century.
History, description, use
The three-storey gabled house, on whose gable the date 1659 is preserved, is designed in the style of the early Gothic . Its facade was renewed in the 19th century; it is divided horizontally, a tendril frieze separates visually the ground floor and the first floor, a Konsolfries will conclude.
Four stumbling blocks are set in the sidewalk in front of the front door ; they are reminiscent of Anna, Ruth, Vera and Hirsch Guss (see the list of stumbling blocks in Stralsund ).
The house is located in the core area of the city area recognized by UNESCO as a world cultural heritage site of the historical old towns Stralsund and Wismar .
It is entered in the list of architectural monuments in Stralsund with the number 67.
Parts of the house are used by the CDU local branch.
